Winter is coming so that means it’s time to pray for snow!
Lee Canyon’s 2017/18 winter season will be here before you know it, so its time to pray to the snow gods for fresh powder in the Spring Mountains.
Join us for our second annual Pray for Snow party at Skye Center co-hosted by Lee Canyon. The all-ages, après ski-themed celebration of all things winter is free and open to the public.
There will also be a canned food drive benefitting Three Square. Each donation will earn attendees one raffle entry for drawings. Prizes include 2017/18 Lee Canyon lift tickets, North Face jackets, and a Snow Cabana Day at Lee Canyon (a one-day rental of Lee Canyon’s snow cabana that includes six lift tickets and a $300 food and beverage credit).
Guests can enjoy live music, by Rein Garcia Music with special ukulele guest Jesy, patio games, and warm up by the fire pits on the Skye Center patio. There will be a gourmet chili station with all the fixings along with a gourmet hot chocolate bar, s’mores cookies by The Cookie Bar, and a beer station by Tenaya Creek Brewery. Beers will have suggested donation amounts with 100% of proceeds going to Three Square.
Skiers and snowboarders can pick up their pre-purchased 2017/18 Lee Canyon season passes. Passes can also be purchased at the event. Lee Canyon’s season pass sale ends on November 4.
Local retailers and organizations including Mt. Charleston, Burton Snowboards Vegas Outlet, Friends of Nevada Wilderness, and CenturyLink will have tables in the vendor area.
